Balto's prescription delivery service involves the specific task of delivering medications from a local pharmacy to a patient's home or office within a 3 to 10-mile radius.

The driver employed must utilize their personal vehicle for local deliveries within the city of employment. They are required to have a clean driving record, adhere to all state and national driving laws and regulations, and follow prearranged routes using maps or GPS navigation. Additionally, drivers are responsible for maintaining their vehicle in proper working condition.

Upon receiving notification from the Balto system on their mobile phone, local drivers are instructed to pick up requested prescriptions from the nearest assigned pharmacy. They must present Balto's unique ID to the pharmacist for medication release before proceeding to deliver the prescribed items to the patient’s specified location, securing an adult's signature to complete Balto's delivery process.
